Un programme classique, mais pas que… et totalement ébouriffant !
L’ouverture des Noces de Figaro est une des pages symphoniques les plus folles de Mozart : tout file à toute allure, notamment les transitions virevoltantes entre les différents pupitres de l’orchestre. Et la Symphonie Concertante pour 4 vents n’est pas en reste ! Les solistes de l’Orchestre se lèvent et engagent une conversation virtuose avec leurs collègues musiciens. La 8e de Beethoven, fidèle à cette énergie mozartienne, incarne une rhétorique et une verve toutes classiques. Le compositeur allemand Jörg Widmann (né en 1973) compose Con brio (2008), une ouverture de concert écrite à partir de motifs extraits de la Symphonie n°8 de Beethoven, comme un brillant et époustouflant écho qui surgit à deux siècles d’écart…
