Une création originale mêlant théâtre et chansons.
1881. Lorsqu’ils reprennent la direction de l’Opéra Garnier, Armand Moncharmin et Firmin Richard font face à une série d’évènements étranges : le grand lustre s’effondre en pleine représentation, tuant une spectatrice; un machiniste est retrouvé pendu, sans laisser trace de la corde; et une loge réservée par un personnage mystérieux terrorise le personnel.
Après le triomphe aux Molières de La Machine de Turing, Benoît Solès revient nous éblouir avec une nouvelle adaptation et mise en scène de la célèbre œuvre de Gaston Leroux. Au son d’une bande originale mêlant pop, rock, électro, jazz manouche et clins d’œil classiques, la troupe apporte un souffle nouveau et une grande intensité scénique à l’œuvre, en entonnant des airs qui restent longtemps en tête.
