LA CÉLÈBRE SYMPHONIE DU NOUVEAU MONDE DE DVOŘÁK.
L’une des références de la grande tradition européenne du XIXe siècle est la musique de Johannes Brahms. Son Concerto pour violon (1879) représente sans doute la quintessence du style romantique allemand. Ambitieuse, la partition du soliste est redoutablement difficile et repousse les limites des prouesses techniques violonistiques du temps. Si elle s’inscrit dans cette grande tradition, la Neuvième Symphonie d’Antonín Dvořák (1893) porte le témoignage de la curiosité de son auteur, intrigué par ce nouveau monde en pleine effervescence.
