Autrefois musulman pratiquant, Mehdi est aujourd’hui catholique et comédien dans des milieux progressistes et athées. Un grand écart pas toujours simple à manœuvrer !
De l’islam à sa conversion au catholicisme en passant par le protestantisme, Mehdi a fait de la question de Dieu une (en)quête obsédante.
Dans ce seul en scène qui sort des sentiers battus et du politiquement correct Mehdi revient avec humour sur son étonnant parcours spirituel mais aussi sur son enfance stéphanoise dans une famille d’origine algérienne, son expérience dans la délinquance puis sa carrière de comédien formé à la Manufacture, Haute école de théâtre de Lausanne.
Tout le monde en prend pour son grade dans cet exercice de style tonique et réconfortant qui nous prouve qu’armé d’un bon texte, on peut décidément rire de tout.
